Another cohort of restaurants is invited to apply for the Spurs Culinary Residency program, which aims to highlight San Antonio eateries by giving them the chance to serve at Spurs home games. This time, 12 spots are available, and it’s relatively easy to put your restaurant’s name in the hat.

The online application is open now through August 4, and all it takes is completing a brief questionnaire about the restaurant to be considered for the program. Restaurants selected for the 2026-2027 Spurs season will have the opportunity to cook their signature dishes at nine home games. The chosen businesses will work with Aramark and Spurs Sports & Entertainment to plan and create their dishes for serving at the Frost Bank Center.

“San Antonio’s local restaurants are part of what makes our community so unique, and we’re proud to continue creating opportunities to celebrate them through the Spurs Culinary Residency Program,” said Casey Heverling, senior vice president of venue strategy and fan experience at Spurs Sports & Entertainment, in a news release.

Previous participants in the program include Wing Theory, Sari-Sari Filipino Restaurant, Dipped Cheesecakes, Peach Cobbler Factory, M&M Delicakes, Wiki-licious San Antonio, Scooped Cookie Dough Bar, Smokin’ Bros BBQ, 375 Social Kitchen, Krazy Katsu, Alamo Biscuit Company, The Dogfather and Slow Boogies, according to the news release.

“We look forward to welcoming another group of talented local chefs and sharing their stories and flavors with Spurs fans throughout the season,” Heverling said.

Undoubtedly, interest in the Spurs will be high as the reigning Western Conference Champions head into the next NBA season, and 12 lucky San Antonio restaurants will be able to take part in the next chapter.
