Other than Bronny James, not that many players stood out for the Los Angeles Lakers during summer league play this month. However, they do have some undrafted rookies on their roster who could have a chance at becoming diamonds in the rough.

Among them are Eric Dixon, RJ Davis, Arthur Kaluma and Augustas Marčiulionis. Dixon and Marčiulionis didn’t play in summer league due to injury, and Davis and Kaluma weren’t consistently impressive or promising.

Still, all four will have the opportunity to show the Lakers something during training camp, as they have been signed to Exhibit 10 contracts as of Saturday.

Dixon, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward, led all of NCAA Division I men’s basketball in scoring this past season and averaged 23.3 points a game while shooting 40.7% from 3-point range. Davis had some solid play at the point guard position in five seasons with the University of North Carolina and averaged 15.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists a game during that time.

Kaluma put up 12.2 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in four years of college basketball, and Marčiulionis, the son of Hall of Famer Šarūnas Marčiulionis, showed some potential as a scorer and facilitator while at Saint Mary’s College in the San Francisco Bay Area.

According to initial reports a few weeks ago, the Lakers had signed Dixon to a two-way contract. However, it was later reported that he hadn’t signed such a deal due to a foot injury.
