WYFF 4 will expand programming to include CBS on Aug. 1

Beginning August 1, you’ll be able to watch CBS programming right here from WYFF 4, including CBS primetime shows, CBS Sports, and CBS News.

Now, if you’re wondering what that means for WYFF 4 the answer is simple: nothing is changing with the station you watch today. You’ll still find NBC programming, all of your favorite WYFF 4 local newscasts, weather, and community coverage right where they’ve always been on WYFF 4.

The only difference is that CBS programming will be available on WYFF 4.3, one of our free over-the-air channels. If you watch with an antenna, your TV may automatically find it during a channel scan, or you may need to rescan your channels after August 1.

If you watch through cable, satellite, or a streaming TV provider, we’ll let you know exactly where to find it as soon as those channel positions are finalized.

We’ll continue to share updates leading up to August 1, both here on WYFF 4 and online at wyff4.com, to make sure you know exactly where to find all of your favorite programming.

I used to watch CBS on a different channel. What happened?

CBS’s affiliation in Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville-Anderson has changed. Beginning August 1, 2026, WYFF 4 is the new home for CBS in this market. We know it may take a little getting used to, and we’re glad to have you watching.

Will I still get local news along with CBS programming?

Yes. WYFF 4’s existing local news team will air on the new CBS subchannel, so you’ll see the same anchors, reporters, and local coverage you already know — now also available on 4.3.

Why does the news look different from what I’m used to seeing with CBS?

If you previously watched CBS on a different station, that station had its own separate news team. Starting August 1, the CBS affiliation belongs to WYFF 4, so the newscasts paired with CBS programming are produced by WYFF 4’s news team, simulcast from our main channel.

What CBS programming will be available?

The full CBS network schedule, including primetime dramas and comedies, daytime programming, late night talk shows, NFL and other sports coverage, and CBS News programming — along with WYFF 4’s local newscasts.

Is WYFF 4’s main channel changing?

No. WYFF 4’s primary channel and existing programming are not changing. CBS is being added as an additional over-the-air digital subchannel, 4.3.

Will I still be able to see NBC on WYFF 4?

Yes. WYFF 4’s primary channel and existing programming are not changing—you will still be able to watch the same programming and news you watch on WYFF 4. CBS is being added as an additional over-the-air digital subchannel, 4.3.
