Dallas Museum of Natural History will open every Sunday – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

After reopening for the World Cup following 14 years of closure, the Dallas Museum of Natural History is keeping its doors open every Sunday moving forward.

“You asked, we listened!” Dallas’ Fair Park said in an announcement post.

The museum spent decades teaching Texans about the state’s diverse wildlife. Built to celebrate the Texas Centennial, the museum’s taxidermy displays date back to the 1930s. Each diorama depicts native wildlife and painted landscapes.

The new hours were announced via Dallas’ Fair Park Instagram account. The Fair Park Visitor Center/Natural History Museum will now be open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to the Fair Park Instagram account, museumgoers should be on the lookout for more opening days and hours that will be announced in the future on their social media.
