Dan’s Bagels will open a new location in North Richland Hills

Dan’s Bagels will open a new location in North Richland Hills on September 2, marking its fifth store in North Texas. 

The new location will be at 9041 Mid Cities Blvd., across from Birdville High School, and will span 1,460 square feet. The store will offer the same menu as the other locations, featuring sourdough bagels made using a three-day fermentation process, as well as sandwiches, cream cheeses and other snacks. 

This new store will be operated by franchisees Brandi and Dave McAvoy, while founders Dan and Jennifer Hilbert will remain involved in operations, according to a release. 

This opening is part of the expansion of Dan’s Bagels, a company that began during the pandemic when Dan Hilbert developed a sourdough bagel recipe at home. 

The first store opened in Trophy Club in 2021, and the brand now has locations in Grapevine, Fort Worth and Argyle. 

The new store will celebrate its grand opening on September 2 with community activities and will feature its Sparkle Bagels.
