JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Crews were on the scene of a house fire this morning in Jacksonville.
City officials say Jacksonville Fire Department crews were called to a fire around 8:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of Country Club Road.
Officials say no one was home during the fire and no firefighters were injured.
WITN learned that the fire was put out before 9:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
