Movie Night at Fenway Park returns with ‘Happy Gilmore’ screening

BOSTON —
Movie Night at Fenway Park returns Sept. 5 with a special screening of the 1996 comedy “Happy Gilmore” in celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary.
The Adam Sandler classic will air on the ballpark’s videoboard beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Fans can take part in golf-themed activities, including mini golf and a golf simulator long-drive competition, and are encouraged to wear their best “Adam Sandler” outfits.
Attendees will also be able to walk along the warning track and take photos with the World Series trophies, weather permitting. The first 1,000 guests will receive a Movie Night-branded golden mini hockey stick.
Tickets are available for $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 12 and younger. Children ages 2 and younger are admitted free. Tickets can be purchased at redsox.com/movienight.
The event is free for Red Sox season ticket holders.
Concessions will be available throughout the event.
