Richardson Police, with the help of Dallas Police, are in the early stages of an investigation including a police chase.
Richardson Police say it started around 2:30am Thursday morning after a possible robbery. The chase went from Richardson to Dallas, where it eventually came to a stop at Alpha Road and Hughes Lane.
It’s unclear why the chase stopped there. An ATF agent at the scene says the suspect fired shots at police and police returned fire, hitting the suspect.
An NBC 5 crew ar the scene saw the suspect’s car full of bullet holes. At least two police vehicles had bullet holes in them as well.
We are waiting for both Richardson PD and Dallas PD to give more information.
