PHOENIX (AZFamily) — At least one person has died in a rollover crash late Wednesday night, closing a busy north Phoenix road.
Phoenix police were called to the collision near 9th Street and Cave Creek Road around 10 p.m. While details remain limited at this time, Arizona’s Family confirmed at least one person was killed in the wreck.
Video from the scene shows an SUV that rolled upside down and landed on a nearby fence. Bits of the fence were bent from the crash impact. It appears only one vehicle was involved in the wreck.

Arizona’s Family has reached out to Phoenix police for additional information.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes as crews continue to investigate the scene into early Thursday morning. Cave Creek remains closed in both directions from 9th Street to Hatcher Road.
