SAN ANTONIO – A man who was fatally shot outside a local beer garden has been identified.

The man was identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office as 32-year-old Allan Roquemore. He died of gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.

Around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to the scene of a shooting in progress near the corner of North Alamo Street and 8th Street.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 32-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. As EMS was preparing the victim for transport to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators say that some altercation between the victim and the suspect took place in a nearby parking lot, when the suspect pulled a gun and started shooting.

Police also say the suspect had fired at a second individual at the scene, but missed.

Bently’s Beer Garden released a statement, clarifying that the incident did not involve the establishment, as the shooting occurred at a nearby parking lot.
