ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – The Braves honored franchise legend Andruw Jones Thursday following his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Jones was inducted into Cooperstown Sunday alongside Carlos Beltrán and Jeff Kent.
Fans attending Thursday’s game received a bobblehead depicting Jones making a diving catch. During a pre-game celebration, a celebratory video played on the center field scoreboard with several current and former Braves, including manager Walt Weiss, lauding Jones’ accomplishments.
Jones also rode around the field in a convertible before the game.
Jones was elected to the Hall in his ninth year on the ballot. He became the 14th Hall of Famer in franchise history to represent the Braves.
