Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Audien is set to take over New York City this weekend with a series of events celebrating the release of his newest single, “High Hopes,” while bringing his Progressive House Never Died event series back to the city.
The weekend will include three appearances across New York, beginning Friday with a sunset performance at Azure Rooftop at Arlo Williamsburg. On Saturday, fans can catch Audien headlining Progressive House Never Died at The Rooftop at Pier 17, alongside Mike Williams and Justin Mylo. The celebration will conclude with a surprise afterparty at a location to be announced.
The performances come on the heels of Audien’s latest release, “High Hopes,” a collaboration with singer-songwriter Shaun Farrugia that continues the melodic, emotional style that has become synonymous with the producer’s music.
“High Hopes is everything I love about progressive house,” Audien said in a statement. “It has that feeling of hope, connection, and emotion that made me fall in love with dance music in the first place.”

The song follows another busy year for Audien, who has continued releasing new music while touring internationally. Earlier this year, he performed at venues and festivals including The Sphere in Las Vegas, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, EDC Mexico and Miami Music Week.
Saturday’s Pier 17 show also marks another chapter in the expansion of Progressive House Never Died, the event series Audien launched in 2022 to spotlight the genre and build a community around melodic progressive house music.
What began as a fan-focused concept has since evolved into a touring series that has drawn crowds at venues including Brooklyn Mirage, Echostage, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and showcases during Miami Music Week. The New York stop continues that momentum, bringing the festival-style experience to one of the city’s premier outdoor concert venues.
Originally from Mystic, Connecticut, Audien first broke onto the electronic music scene with releases on labels such as Anjunabeats, Armada and Astralwerks before earning a Grammy nomination for his remix of Bastille’s “Pompeii.” Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists including Lady A, MAX and Echosmith while producing remixes for Coldplay, Calvin Harris and Halsey.
With new music, a growing live event brand and a full weekend of performances scheduled across New York City, Audien’s latest visit reflects both the continued evolution of his career and his commitment to keeping progressive house music at the forefront of the dance scene.
