PFL NY: Lazaro Dayron vs. Raufeon Stots

Next up is a bantamweight bout between former Bellator champ Raufeon Stots and unbeaten Lazaro Dayron.

Round 1 was largely a feel-out process with single-strike offerings to the legs and upstairs. Dayron let his strikes go a little more in the final minute and scored a takedown, but not much came of it before the bell. The action heated up just a little in Round 2, but it was still a strategic (or cautious, depending on how you want to call it) approach from both, with Dayron having more success.

The crowd woke up between rounds when Jake Paul was shown cageside, prompting chants of “F*ck Jake Paul.”

Anyway, Round 3 began, and Stots showed a little more urgency, but Dayron was able to keep things under his control from the center, and was able to implement some grappling.
