Coach David Price has two flag championships
Price, a member of the U.S. team that won the Flag World Championship in 2021, said the two experiences feel different.
“Great, great feeling as player, but they don’t compare, really,” he said. “This one’s holding with me awhile. It’s a little different when you’re involved with youth and coaching. They’re both up there.”
Price also said the notoriety the team got hasn’t changed them.
“I’m glad they’re getting the attention but we’ll always stay humble,” he said.
Price said the championship wouldn’t have been possible without the Jaguars’ support, especially from Adriel Rocha, the team’s Vice President of Community Impact and Football Development.
“I personally want to give this trophy to Adriel Rocha,” Price said, holding the team’s championship prize. “None of this is possible without him.”
