SUNBURY — A Sunbury woman is recovering from injuries allegedly sustained after Philadelphia Police said a 44-year-old Danville man assaulted her in mid-July.
A Northumberland County judge also signed a temporary protection from abuse order on July 22 against Carlo Bartoli, a cardiac surgeon at Geisinger, following the alleged victim’s complaint that Bartoli allegedly placed her in a chokehold before Philadelphia police were called to the scene of a July 19 incident, according to court documents.
