Taylor Sheridan‘s Lioness filmed its third season in Fort Worth and all around North Texas.

The Paramount+ series follows CIA operative Joe (Zoe Saldaña) as she balances her “personal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency’s war on terror.” The show also stars Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly and Morgan Freeman.

Lioness spent several months in the metroplex filming scenes from October 2025 to March 2026.

Here’s a look at all the North Texas locations featured in Season 3, Episode 1, “The Spider and the Fly,” which aired Sunday, Aug. 2, on Paramount+.

Editor’s note: Spoilers for Lioness below.

At 5:55, Joe (Zoe Saldaña) talks to Kaitlyn (Nicole Kidman) over the phone before being ambushed and kidnapped.

This entire sequence takes place in the Berkeley Place neighborhood near the Fort Worth Zoo.

Joe backs out of the driveway of a home at 2236 Hawthorne Ave., and the actual kidnapping takes place on Forrest Park Boulevard between Huntington Lane and Hawthorne Avenue.

At 8:04, Byron (Michael Kelly) walks into the CIA’s headquarters in Langley, Virginia.

If the building looks familiar, that’s because it’s actually Dallas City Hall.

Sci-fi classic RoboCop filmed at the downtown building back in the 1980s. Dallas filmmaker Merced Elizondo also filmed his new short film, And Then Everything Turned Itself Inside Out, at the locale just a few months ago.

At 9:03, Joe and her team are on an assignment at Georgetown University.

This was actually filmed on SMU’s campus in Dallas.

Lioness Season 3 airs Sundays on Paramount+.
