McDonough Art Museum

Families gather at McDonough Museum of Art for the YoPas launch

YOUNGSTOWN – The John J. McDonough Museum of Art received more than $12,000 in grant funds from the Ohio Arts Council (OAC) Board.

The museum received a $12,418 sustainability grant for fiscal year 2027. This funding comes from $23.2 million in grants approved by the OAC Board.

The funding will support various programs at the museum, such as the Emerging Artist series, which aims to create opportunities for new and emerging visual and performance artists.

The funding also supports collaboration with the community to create programs for them.

The museum is getting ready to begin its 35th year as an institution and thanked the OAC and Governor Mike DeWIne for their coninued support.
