An 18-year-old man was killed about a half-hour before sunrise Monday in a crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in East Los Angeles.

The single-vehicle crash was reported about 5:35 a.m Monday on the eastbound side of the freeway west of Indiana Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

He was later identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Aaron Patrick.

Two eastbound freeway lanes were closed and a SigAlert was issued.

All lanes were reopened about 10:20 a.m.
