HOUSTON – Authorities are looking into what led up to a deadly shooting Sunday evening at a METRO transit center in southeast Houston.

Details are limited due to the active nature of the investigation, but it happened a little after 6:30 p.m. when the Houston and METRO Police Department were called to a shooting.
HPD said a man and woman were picking up a family member from the bus at the METRO transit center on Old Spanish Trail.
It’s unclear how the shooting unfolded, but investigators found their car had crashed into a tree. The man was pronounced dead inside a vehicle, but the woman, who was also inside the car, was not injured.
No additional information has been shared, as of this writing, so it’s unclear if any arrests have been made.
