Brazilian dance music superstar Alok brought more than a DJ set to Brooklyn over the weekend, introducing North American audiences to his ambitious new live experience, “Rave The World,” during a sold-out performance at Pacha New York.
Presented in partnership with Tomorrowland, the production marked the first North American stop for the immersive concept, blending electronic music, storytelling and large-scale visuals into an experience designed to celebrate the roots of rave culture while giving it a modern identity.
The performance also represented another milestone for Pacha New York, which has continued to attract internationally recognized artists since reopening earlier this summer. By hosting the debut, the Brooklyn venue further cemented itself as a destination for global electronic music acts.
“New York has always had a unique energy and connection to dance music culture,” Alok said ahead of the performance. “As we prepare to debut Rave The World in London, it felt important to also bring the experience to a city that has helped shape global nightlife and club culture for decades. There’s something powerful about launching the North American debut at the new Pacha New York.”

Throughout the night, Alok delivered fan favorites including “Hear Me Now,” “Deep Down,” and “Work With My Love,” while pairing his signature sound with immersive production that transformed the dance floor into a festival-like atmosphere. Supporting performances from SIDEPIECE, Bhaskar and INNTRAW rounded out the lineup.
The sold-out event followed another packed night at Pacha, where Ukrainian duo ARTBAT opened the weekend with their signature melodic techno sound. Additional performances from Sainte Vie and David Lindmer highlighted a weekend that showcased both established international stars and rising names in electronic music.
For Alok, however, Rave The World is intended to be more than a concert. The project draws inspiration from the original ideals of rave culture community, connection and shared experience while encouraging audiences to reconnect through music.

“Rave The World is not just a show,” Alok said. “It’s an invitation to be present, to feel together, and to remember why we gather in the first place. It’s about redefining raving not as escape, but as engagement with the world, together, in real time.”
The concept has already generated international momentum, with strong demand ahead of its global rollout, and its Brooklyn debut offered New York fans the first opportunity in North America to experience the production firsthand.
As Pacha New York continues its inaugural season, the back-to-back sold-out performances from ARTBAT and Alok add to a growing list of marquee acts helping establish the venue’s return as one of the city’s premier homes for electronic music and nightlife.
