The Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce will host an AM Connect networking event and donation drive Thursday, Aug. 20, to benefit the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children.
The event will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, 7010 E. Cochise Road in Scottsdale. Attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, as well as nonperishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter and snacks.
Donations will support families navigating pediatric cancer treatment through the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, which provides financial, social and emotional assistance, including meal services, counseling, tutoring and family support programs.
