BURLESON – Jayson Clanton passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the age of 32 after a lifetime battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Born July 31, 1992, in Eastland, Texas, Jayson came into the lives of his parents Victoria Kubala Clanton and George Lynn Clanton when he was three years old. He loved family vacations, being a dog dad, watching Texas Rangers’ games, and hunting and fishing with his dad and brother. Despite his physical challenges, he also enjoyed playing sports, especially baseball, golf, and football. At the age of ten, he once struck out twelve batters in one game. He was selected for the All-Stars team three times. Most importantly, he had a good heart. He will be lovingly remembered and missed. Jayson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Berniece and George Clanton, Josephine and Henry Kubala; and uncles, Kenneth Bernsen, Mike Click, Mark Lansdown, Kenneth Kubala, and Frank Reichardt. Jayson is survived by his parents, his sister Jessica Lambert and her husband, Art, of Panama; his sister Jeana Schnedorf and her husband, Justin, of Fort Worth; his brother Greg Clanton and his wife, Jessica, of Glen Rose, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Cook Children’s Medical Center and the Palliative Care Unit at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth, especially Dr. Nancy Dambro, M.D., Dr. John Burk, M.D. Cyndy Roger, ACNP-BC, and the staff of Community Hospice Healthcare of Texas. All funeral services will take place at Mount Olivet Chapel and Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm on Monday, July 28, 2025, followed immediately by a memorial service, interment, and a reception.
