Yolanda was born on August 17, 1945, in Teocaltiche, Jalisco, Mexico. She lived a life marked by resilience, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. For 49 beautiful years, Yolanda was married to Teodoro Franco Alvarez. Together, they built a home rooted in faith, love, and enduring family values. Their greatest joy was found in moments shared with their children and grandchildren, moments full of laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Maria Elena Franco, Gerardo Franco and his spouse Nonna Franco, Yolanda Franco and her spouse Cesar Rodriguez, and Patricia Franco. Yolanda’s legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Gerardo Ted Franco, Kassandra Franco, Ricardo Rodriguez, Sofia Franco, Sophia Rodriguez, Carmelo Williams, and Maximus Franco. She was also blessed to witness the joy of her great-grandchildren, Dominic Franco and April Franco, who brought immense happiness into her life. Yolanda had a zest for life and a spirit full of light. She delighted in simple pleasures: spinning slot machines at the casino, taking in the salty breeze by the ocean with a favorite drink in hand, and most of all, gathering her family around the table for the meals she lovingly prepared. Her cooking was an expression of her love, and her kitchen was the heart of the home, filled with laughter, comfort, and the unmistakable scent of her delicious meals. A devout Catholic and a woman of deep faith, Yolanda’s strength came from her unshakable belief in God. She lived her faith through action, always offering a helping hand, a listening ear, and a kind word to anyone in need. She was the guiding light of her family, instilling in her children and grandchildren the values of kindness, honesty, and compassion. Yolanda’s warmth, generosity, and boundless love touched countless lives. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved and the lives she helped shape.
