MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Elvis Week 2026 begins on Saturday in Memphis, and with it, a 10-day celebration at Graceland.
This annual celebration honors the life and legacy of the King of Rock N Roll with live performances, contents, panels, a new exhibit and the traditional Candlelight Vigil.
Every year since Elvis’ passing, fans make the pilgrimage to Memphis to honor the King.
This year’s Elvis Week features a very special lineup including:
- (New) Elvis: The Fashion Icon (exhibit opened August 7): This exhibit explores the personal style of Elvis through a curated collection of clothing and accessories from his wardrobe.
- Elvis Unplugged and Amplified (August 12): Featuring Dean Z with special guests Larry Gatlin, Tony Orlando, and more!
- Elvis 1956 (August 13): This celebrates the groundbreaking year that launched Elvis’ career and rocketed him to superstar.
- Elvis Presley in Concert (August 14): Enjoy the big screen Elvis experience with a live band.
- Conversations with Elvis (August 15): This features intimate stories from Elvis’ friends and colleagues, including George Hamilton Kent McCord and Jimmy Hawkins. Plus, there’s a Graceland Legends awards presentation.
- The 2026 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Contest: This longstanding event welcomes 19 Elvis tribute artists from around the world to compete before an all-star judging panel.
- Candlelight Vigil (August 15): This event lasts through the night as participants gather on Elvis Presley Boulevard. It is also streamed live online.

- Elvis’ girlfriend Linda Thompson
- Legendary actor George Hamilton
- Singer/songwriter Tony Orlando
- Larry Gatlin, singer/songwriter for Elvis’ hits “Help Me” and “Bitter They Are, Harder They Fall”
- It’s a Wonderful Life actor Jimmy Hawkins, who co-starred with Elvis in Girl Happy and Spinout
- Adam-12 actor Kent McCord, who played football with Elvis and appeared in four Elvis films
- Larry Strickland, former member of J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet
- Sweet Inspiration Estelle Brown
- Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer and Hall & Oates co-founder John Oates
- Producer, director, writer and filmmaker Andrew Solt, who owns the rights to The Ed Sullivan Show
