SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is dead and another is fighting for life after a crash Friday morning in north Scottsdale.
Scottsdale police and firefighters were called to the two-truck crash at Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads around 9:20 a.m.
Two people were hospitalized after the crash. Scottsdale police said one of those people died at the hospital, and the other is in life-threatening condition. Three other people received medical treatment at the scene.
The person who died has not been publicly identified.
Police said one of the trucks was towing a trailer. The crash caused the trailer to flip and temporarily block portions of Pima and Pinnacle Peak roads, but the intersection is now clear.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
