FORT WORTH – William Ray Lambright passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 64, due to complications from a stroke. William was a charismatic and loving man, known for his big heart and generous spirit. He never met a stranger and was always quick to lend a hand – or the shirt off his back. His unique charm, sense of humor, and loyalty will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia Luis Myers. William will be laid to rest beside her in Houston, Texas. He is survived by his devoted sister, Michelle Morgan, and her husband, Hilmer; his nieces, Candis Bowlin and Ashley Morgan; his nephew, Chris Morgan; three great-nieces; five great-nephews; and his father, Harold Lambright. William is also remembered with deep affection by many, many friends – who often became like family to him throughout his life. Though William faced many challenges, his desire to be accepted and loved was rooted in the pain he carried from early on. His sister stood by him faithfully, and his friends provided companionship, laughter, and support through it all. He will be remembered with love – for all that he was, all that he gave, and all that he hoped to become. May he now rest in peace.
