A 59-year old woman suffered head and leg injuries Sunday in a hit-and-run crash in the Paradise Hills neighborhood, the San Diego Police Department reported.
Just before 8:20 a.m. Sunday, the woman was walking north at 2700 Homedale Street when the vehicle “went up onto the sidewalk and struck her,” police said.
The vehicle’s driver fled the scene, the department added.
The victim suffered a fractured fibula and a subdural brain hemorrhage, but police said she was expected to survive her injuries.
