Consumer alert: Hannaford recalls deli and produce items over salmonella risk

Hannaford Supermarkets is recalling certain deli and produce items due to the potential for salmonella contamination.

The recall announced Saturday afternoon is part of a broader voluntary recall by jalapeño supplier Coast Citrus Distributors.

The six items impacted by the recall include:

  • Beans Rice and Cheese Burrito; Item #: 245321; Best-By Date: 8/7/26 – 8/11/26
  • Classic Beef Burrito; Item #: 245461; Best-By Date: 8/7/26 – 8/12/26
  • Chicken Verde Burrito; Item #: 245451; Best-By Date: 8/7/26 – 8/10/26
  • Chipotle Chicken Tortilla Wrap; Item #: 213291; Best-By Date: 8/7/26 – 8/10/26
  • Diced Jalapeños (4/3.75 oz.); Item #: 226061; Best-By Date: 8/9/26 and 8/12/26
  • Pico de Gallo Salsa (4/7 oz.); Item #: 16237; Best-By Date: 8/9/26 – 8/12/26

Hannaford says customers should check their storage and freezer areas for these products and not eat the products. The items may be returned to a local Hannaford store for a full refund.
