SCHOHARIE COUNTY N.Y. (WCAX) – The man wanted in connection with a murder and arson in New York has been taken into custody.
New York State Police say 32-year-old Thomas David Ryan was taken into custody Saturday, ending the manhunt in Schoharie County, and across the state. He has been wanted since Thursday, when police found a man dead inside a home in Greenville, N.Y. The victim has been identified as Ryan’s 70 year-old father, Robert Ryan. Police say Thomas Ryan did not live with his father, nor in the Greenville area.
They say the fire was deliberately set, and death is a homicide. This story will be updated with new information.
