Scottsdale resident Jenn McKinlay has spent the past 25 years writing romance and mystery novels, publishing her first book more than two decades ago.
Now, one of those stories is getting a new life on screen. McKinlay’s novel Paris Is Always a Good Idea has been adapted into a six-episode Hallmark+ miniseries, with the first two episodes premiering July 30 and a new episode releasing each Thursday.
The book was different from McKinlay’s other work from the beginning. She said the story came to her already fully formed and was lightly inspired by a friend’s experiences.
