Sacramento Kings open 2026-27 at Clippers, face Warriors in home opener
SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
The Sacramento Kings will open the 2026-27 NBA season against some familiar opponents.
In the season opener, the Kings will take on the Los Angeles Clippers at the Intuit Dome on Oct. 21, sources told KCRA 3’s Sean Cunningham. That game will serve as the NBA debut for rookie Darius Acuff Jr., who was selected seventh overall by the Kings in June.
The home opener at Golden 1 Center is set for Oct. 24 against the Golden State Warriors.

The 2026-27 campaign will be the second full season under head coach Doug Christie. The Kings will look to improve from last year’s 22-60 record, which was tied for the worst record in the Western Conference.
The full 2026-27 NBA schedule will be released on Thursday.
