A pursuit that started in the high desert of San Bernardino County continued Tuesday afternoon on streets and freeways east of Los Angeles.
Details about what led to the pursuit of the blue Nissan SUV were not immediately available. The chase began about 80 miles northeast of Los Angeles in the San Bernardino County community of Victorville.
The driver is wanted in connection with a no-bail warrant. Details about the warrant were not immediately available.
The driver was traveling east in San Bernardino County before circling back on the 10 Freeway toward Los Angeles.
The driver exited onto streets in the West Covina area with several patrol SUVs in pursuit. A passenger fell or jumped out of the SUV on Valinda Avenue.
The pursuit continued east on the 60 Freeway through Ontario, where driver stopped on the side of an exit ramp and surrendered to authorities near Vineyard Avenue.
