FORT WORTH – Sheryl Edmunds, 75, passed away on July 19, 2025, surrounded by her family in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born April 2, 1950, to James Franklin Jordan and Mary Margaret Jordan in Commerce, Texas Sheryl was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found her heart’s companion, Denver Edmunds, and together they shared 57 beautiful years of love and devotion. They raised two children together in Fort Worth, Texas. Sheryl’s door was always open to family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling every year to Beaver’s Bend, Oklahoma, where she liked to hike, play games, sit around the campfire, and cook delicious food everyone enjoyed. Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Kathy. She is survived by her husband, Denver Edmunds; her daughters, Angelique Gantt and Erica Cash; grandson, Nathan Gantt; brothers, James, Lowell, and Terry Jordan; sister, Brenda McCrary; and several nieces and nephews. Sheryl was loved and will be forever missed. Sheryl’s family and loved ones will organize a celebration ceremony to scatter her ashes at a later date.
