PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Every week, Arizona’s Family looks up restaurants recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department. Restaurants with some of the highest numbers of “risk factors,” considered major health code violations by inspectors, are selected for our Dirty Dining Report. Here are the Valley restaurants that did not make the grade for August 12, 2026:
Rosati’s – 1035 N Ellsworth Rd, Mesa
3 violations:
- No certified food manager
- Employee grabbed ready to eat salad mix with bare hands
- Cooked meatballs and alfredo sauce kept past discard dates
Feringhee – 3491 W Frye Rd, Chandler
4 violations:
- Worker not washing hands properly
- Employee using bare hands to plate ready-to-eat onions
- Dishwashing machine not cleaning properly
- Raw fish, ribs and lamb not kept cold enough
Pacific Seafood Buffet – 3110 N Arizona Ave, Chandler
4 violations:
- Employee drinks stored above food prep tables
- Employee handled food without washing hands
- Sushi not kept cold enough
- Cooling unit not staying cool
Tempe Eats – 85 E Southern Ave, Tempe
4 violations:
- Raw salmon stored above cooked chicken
- Cooling wands stored on food debris on floor of freezer
- Several flying insects in storage area
- Food not date marked properly
AZ Pho & Grill – 885 N 54th Street, Chandler
4 violations:
- Raw chicken and eggs stored over containers of sauces
- Egg rolls not hot enough
- 1st Aid Kit and ointments over noodles at food prep counter
- Food debris and grease on walls of kitchen
