For nearly a century, 97 years and counting, Burger’s Lake has been a beloved summer escape for DFW locals. Tucked away in a lush 30-acre park on the outskirts of Fort Worth, this 20-foot-deep natural swimming hole offers endless fun.
Summer enthusiasts can spend the day soaking up the sun on sandy beaches, plunging off diving boards, racing down slides, or taking a plunge from the exhilarating 25-foot-high trapeze. Furthermore, Burger’s Lake features bounce balloons, volleyball courts, a splash pad for the kiddos.
Burger’s Lake is home to a super affordable concession stand that serves up all your summer favorites – from burgers and corn dogs to Frito pies and fried pickles. Got a sweet tooth? They’ve got snow cones, candy, and other frozen treats to help you beat the heat.
A few quick rules before you head out: feel free to bring your own coolers, food, grills, and lawn chairs, but leave the pets and alcohol at home. Shaded picnic tables and grills are available on the grounds. Oh, and a little rain won’t ruin your plans, because they don’t close for wet weather! A day at the lake is easy to plan, with general admission priced at just $23.85 per person (with fees). At the gate, admission is $21 with card or $20 if you pay with cash.
Regulars can buy an unlimited season pass (check the website for the current rate) or a Family Swim ticket, which gives you 50 visits at half price for up to six family members per trip.
