Deion Sanders had been noticeably absent from the spotlight following the end of the last NCAAF season, but his focus is now fully set on what’s ahead. The veteran head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes revealed the reasons behind his time away from football activities.

During a press conference, and accompanied by his medical team, Coach Prime revealed that he had been dealing with a bladder tumor which, fortunately for him, was completely removed — allowing him to continue working as normal.

The news was reported by journalist Tom Pelissero, who shared more details about the announcement through his official X (formerly Twitter) account. The update came from one of the most experienced coaches in College Football.

“At a press conference, Colorado coach Deion Sanders’ doctors announce they removed a bladder tumor and ‘he is cured from the cancer.’ Sanders implores everyone to get checked out and get the right care. “Without wonderful people like this, I wouldn’t be sitting here today,’” the insider stated.
