PHOENIX (AZFamily) — First Alert Weather Days are in effect today through Sunday as extreme heat grips the Valley, bringing highs of 110 degrees or hotter.
Monday should peak near 113, with little overnight relief as lows hover around 90 degrees through the weekend. Dew points are in the mid-50s today, but rising humidity will push dew points into the upper-50s and low-60s starting Wednesday and continuing into Friday.
While isolated storms clip eastern Arizona today and Tuesday, storm coverage will ramp up in the High Country later this week, potentially bringing gusty outflow winds into the Valley.
We are also tracking a slight, though still uncertain, chance of Valley showers Thursday night into Friday morning.
