PHOENIX — A man has died after a shooting in north Phoenix on Monday night, authorities said.
The shooting happened at about 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of 14th Street and Topeka Drive, just north of Union Hills Drive and only blocks away from North Canyon High School.
Phoenix police said officers found a man who had been shot at the scene. He was pronounced dead at the scene by firefighters.
Police have detained one man in connection with this shooting.
No other details have been released.
