Neighbors pounded on the door of a Buckeye home Wednesday night after a driveway fire turned the front yard into what the family described as a wall of flames. Security video captured the moment two vehicles ignited outside the Gregory Road home near Apache and Broadway roads. Athena Medina says her family rushed to get out after hearing loud pops that sounded like “bombs.” No one was hurt, but the blaze destroyed both uninsured cars and heavily damaged the garage, which also served as her son’s bedroom. Buckeye police say the vehicles did not ignite on their own and are searching for whoever is responsible.
