The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying four women suspected of committing two aggravated robberies at smoke shops.
The crimes occurred on June 27. At around 10:30 p.m., four women entered a smoke shop in the 12100 block of Northwest Freeway. One woman stayed at the door while the others approached the employee.
Two of the women pulled out handguns and demanded money from the cash register. After taking cash and merchandise, the suspects fled in an unknown car.
Police say the same group is believed to have robbed another smoke shop about an hour earlier at 3800 Center Street in Deer Park.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston directly for a cash reward up to $5,000. To remain anonymous and qualify for the reward, call 713-222-TIPS (8477), submit an online tip at www.crime-stoppers.org, or use the Crime Stoppers mobile app.
