Jaime Pressly was reportedly escorted from a San Jose hotel

Actor Jaime Pressly was reportedly asked to leave a downtown San Jose hotel after guests complained about her behavior.

Pressly, the Emmy-winning actor best known for playing Joy Turner on NBC’s “My Name Is Earl,” was staying at the Signia by Hilton San Jose on Thursday, Aug. 27, ahead of the three-day GalaxyCon pop-culture convention, according to TMZ.

Her scheduled appearance at the convention, which ran Friday-Sunday, Aug. 28-30 at the nearby San Jose McEnery Convention Center, was later canceled.

Multiple witnesses told TMZ that Pressly spent about 30 minutes talking loudly on her phone in the hotel lobby while drinking alcohol and using profanity. They also said she appeared to be under the influence.

Witnesses said she later approached a woman attending a wedding, touched her arm and complained about the security guards.

Pressly then stepped outside before returning to the hotel and heading toward the bar, witnesses told TMZ. 

Hotel security approached Pressly after complaints about her behavior and eventually escorted her out of the building, the outlet reported.

Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ that Pressly had been dealing with family matters that contributed to her behavior.

A spokesperson for Signia by Hilton San Jose declined to discuss the incident, telling TMZ, “Given our privacy obligations, we are unable to provide any information.”

Pressly, 49, won an Emmy in 2007 for supporting actress in a comedy series for “My Name Is Earl.” Her other onscreen credits include a recurring role in the CBS sitcom “Mom,” and film roles in “Can’t Hardly Wait” (1998), “Not Another Teen Movie” (2001) and “I Love You, Man” (2009).

Earlier this year, Pressly launched an OnlyFans account.

I’ve loved meeting fans at various Comic Cons, and the excitement of having those real face to face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans.”
