Authorities sought the public’s assistance Wednesday in locating an at-risk 67-year-old man last seen near the Little Armenia area of Los Angeles, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert.
Liborio Cruz was last seen on Tuesday at about 2:30 p.m. near La Mirada Avenue and North St. Andrews Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Cruz was described as a 5-foot-4-inch-tall man weighing 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, pants, and brown shoes.
Anyone with information regarding Cruz’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled, or cognitively impaired individuals.
