FORT WORTH, Texas – A woman was shot and killed in what police believe may have been a domestic incident at a Fort Worth apartment complex overnight Monday.

Police responded to a shooting call in the 6100 block of Sparrow Wood Lane just after 1:30 a.m. Tuesday. Officers found a woman with a gunshot wound inside an apartment. She died at the scene.

Investigators believe the incident was domestic in nature, and the investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the circumstances of the shooting. The suspect is not in custody.
