CHICAGO — Lollapalooza weekend is here. Whether you have tickets for one of the biggest music festivals in the country or are looking for other plans, we have your weekend covered.

Neighborhood fests like Morgan Park Roots Festival and Jeff Fest are on deck, as well as Mollapalooza, Desipalooza and a Lollapalooza afterparty with Love Island’s Chris Seeley.

You can also catch a curated film screening or grab school supplies for students for the upcoming school year.

Lollapalooza

11 a.m.-10 p.m. Thursday-Sunday

Grant Park, 331 E. Randolph St.

Tyler, The Creator; Olivia Rodrigo; Korn; Rüfüs Du Sol; Sabrina Carpenter and A$AP Rocky are some of the headliners at this year’s highly anticipated Lollapalooza.

Four-day tickets and one-day general admission tickets are already sold out, but you can sign up for the waitlist here. Remaining two-day tickets start at $378. One-day VIP and Platinum tickets are still available for $635 and $2,130, respectively. Learn more and buy tickets here.

Jeff Fest

Jefferson (Thomas) Memorial Park, 4822 N. Long Ave.

Live music, food vendors and family-friendly activities are coming to Jefferson Park for its 24th annual arts and music festival.

MBK Chicago Southwest Latino Regional Summer Partner Celebration

12:30-3 p.m. Thursday

Farragut Career Academy – Turf Field, 2345 S. Christiana Ave.

Join MBK Chicago Southwest Latino Regional at its Summer Partner Celebration for an afternoon to honor its work. The event will have tacos in addition to games, including softball, volleyball and cornhole.

ArtSeed At 59th Street Garden

Join 59th Street Garden for its ArtSeed programs. Youth ages 5-15 and their families will have the chance to build community and enjoy a day of art-making sessions, storytelling and music.

Touch Grass Summer Cookout

21 W. Maple St.

Tea brand Choom and Foxtrot will host its summer event series, Touch Grass Cookout. Experience new pop-up eats, drinks, music and potential prizes. These cookouts will take place at all Foxtrot locations in the city.

Still Outside Fest

Enjoy a night of live performances and DJ sets at Still Outside Fest.

Total Wireless Back to School Backpack Giveaway

Total Wireless will host its Back to School Giveaway for students to start the school year. It will give away 75 backpacks while other school essentials will be available for students needing supplies to start the year.

The Sky Affair House Music Party

I Love House Music Chicago and Allay Soul will host The Sky Affair House Music Party. The party will have a massive lineup, including Karizma, Gene Hut and Dee Jay Alicia.

Bridgeport Environmentalists Neighborhood Trash Cleanup

The Bridgeport Environmentalists will host a neighborhood trash cleanup in Chinatown. Join to help clean up the community and build community with others for a day of socializing in Chinatown Square Plaza.

Culture Canvas Cafe and Art Gallery Saturday Community Market

Enjoy this indoor and outdoor community market with local art, treats and handmade crafts. There will also be live music and entertainment.

North Lawndale Arts Festival

The annual North Lawndale Arts Festival will have live music and performances, local art and food vendors and family-friendly activities.

Morgan Park Roots Festival

Morgan Park will have its annual Morgan Park Roots 2025 Festival. The festival will have line dance instructors, live blues performances and children’s activities. To help students prepare for the next school year, there will also be a backpack and school supply giveaway.

Kingdom Cooperative Church and Divine Connection Music will host its Rise Up for the Turn Up Community Festival this weekend. The festival will include family-friendly activities, a concert and a poetry slam. There will also be a school supply and bike giveaway, a free game truck, haircuts and local vendors.

Up In Smoke 2025

Up in Smoke 2025 will return this year to Beverly. The festival will have tacos and live musical performances from acts like Shannon Baker and The Burners and Bond Henry.

Third Space Film Fest will showcase seven movies from seven Chicago filmmakers, followed by a Q&A from the films’ directors.

Englewood’s Stomp the Yard will return for its fifth year. The event will include live youth performances, HBCU/Divine Night roll calls, local art, merch and food vendors.

The Maker Lab Studio Grand Opening

Enjoy a day of food, fashion and culture during the grand opening of Maker Lab Studio. The studio will bring an installation from eight brands, including Be Original, Nameless Village and Yin Society. There will also be live music and DJ sets.

“Chi Pope: The Musical”

The Harold Washington Cultural Center will have its limited run of “Chi Pope,” a musical where a hip American pope returns to unite the city and engages with local caricatures and political figures along the way.

HOKA Chicago X Welcome Back Lounge Back to School Supplies Event

HOKA Chicago Run Club and Welcome Back Lounge will host its Back to School Supplies Event to give students the materials they need to kick off the school year.
