Many parts of Texas will see slightly “cooler” temperatures and a few showers heading into the weekend. An upper system has increased moisture at the middle and upper levels and a surface boundary will provide some convergence to help fire scattered showers and a few thunderstorms, especially in North and Central Texas. Morning lows will range from the lower 70s in northern areas to upper 70s from the Coastal Bend southward. Highs will reach the middle 90s for north Texas and in the upper 90s and low 100s for southern regions.
