Regional police are now investigating a reported abduction in St. Jacobs, as they say the youth targeted in that incident is now safe.
It was on Friday night around 9:10 p.m. when police say an unknown man made his way into a home in the area of King Street North and Sawmill Road.
It’s alleged that man abducted a female youth from her home, though she was able to escape – sustaining minor physical injuries.
That youth made their way to a place of safety, and called police.
The suspect in this reported youth abduction is described as a brown male, tall, and approximately 20 to 30 years of age.
He’s described as having a black buzz cut and a black shaved beard, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and light grey, knee length shorts.
Investigators believe this to be a targeted incident.
