Dallas is in need of depth after multiple injuries on the offensive line in training camp. On Monday, second-year Cowboys tackle Tyler Guyton suffered a bone fracture and sprained knee, a person with knowledge of the injury told The News.
The Cowboys are also missing guard Rob Jones, out two-to-three months with a broken bone in his neck. All-Pro guard Tyler Smith left Thursday’s practice with tendonitis in his knee.

Collins spent the first six years of his career with the Cowboys before they released him in 2022 with three years remaining on his contract. Following his release, Collins signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in free agency and started 15 games at right tackle before he tore his ACL and MCL.
After the Bengals released Collins, he was signed to the Cowboys’ practice squad in 2024. The reunion was short-lived, as Collins departed to the Buffalo Bills in the offseason.
Collins started 71 games for Dallas from 2015 to 2021, beginning at left guard before a move to right tackle in his third season.
