SAN ANTONIO – A local convention is showcasing vendors, dealers, and artists specializing in all things weird!

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 2 and Aug. 3, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, the Oddities and Curiosities Expo allows those interested in anything unique, morbid, and even beautiful to shop and explore!

From original artwork, prints, and antiques, to handcrafted oddities, quack medical devices, taxidermy, skulls, and preserved specimens, there’s something for everyone, even if you just want to browse.

Guests can even find funeral collectables, clothing, jewelry, and horror/Halloween-inspired novelties. According to the organizers, all products are legal to own and sustainably sourced.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of sideshow performers, taking to the stage throughout the day, as well as the opportunity to learn taxidermy with classes available during the expo.

Organizers pride themselves on the community built around the show, bringing together like-minded artists for a completely “DIY” event.

Oddities & Curiosities Expo is the first and original traveling event dedicated to showcasing oddities, vendors, and dark artists in the U.S.

Tickets cost $10 in advance and $15 for day-of purchases. Kids under 12 can enter for free.
