SAN ANTONIO – Police say a group of four to five teens is to blame for a graffiti spree containing anti-Semitic or racial messaging.
According to the police on the scene, authorities were called when homeowners discovered the hateful messages on cars and homes near the corner of George Road and NW Military Highway on the north side, Saturday morning.

Police say between four and five juveniles, none of whom live in the neighborhood and have yet to be found, are responsible for the graffiti spree, which targeted four to five houses and at least three vehicles.
However, police say that despite the messaging in the graffiti, they do not believe any hateful intent was behind the vandalism, and that it was just teens conducting vandalism.

“The initial details stated that there were possible biases in the graffiti, but we don’t believe that it is racially motivated, or we believe it was just juveniles conducting graffiti,” said the SAPD sergeant on scene.
The teens, when caught, will be charged with Criminal Mischief in Graffiti, but will not be charged with a hate crime.
