2 vehicles shoot at each other in ‘road rage’ incident near Atlantic Blvd and St. Johns Bluff: JSO

One of the drivers was taken to a nearby hospital for injuries and the other car fled the scene

Two cars were shooting at eachother in a road rage incident on Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff. (WJXT, Copyright 2025 by WJXT News4JAX – All rights reserved.)

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two vehicles shot at each other in a “road rage” incident near Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff on Saturday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

JSO said around 3 p.m., officers went to the area of Atlantic Boulevard and St. Johns Bluff in reference to two vehicles shooting at each other.

When they arrived, they found one of the cars disabled on the curb. The driver, a man in his 20s, was shot and taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officials said the other car fled the scene and has not been located.

JSO said it appears to be “an incident of road rage between two vehicles.”
